At my unique Cork‑based lotto syndicate, I focus on bringing people together through a trusted and transparent local community. Instead of distant, anonymous systems, I offer a clear and honest approach built right here in Cork – where every ticket, every draw, and every update is shared openly. About the Founder

Managing a full-time corporate career, running an online business (Sandhills.ie), and raising two daughters is no small task. Despite a packed personal life, I’ve dedicated a portion of my free time to organizing one of Ireland’s most passionate and community-driven lottery syndicates. This initiative remains a hobby – one that motivates and excites me – but I remain conscious not to let it become an unhealthy habit. For me, this is about smart play, shared excitement, and the possibility of changing lives together.

Why We’re Different

Our syndicate isn’t just about pooling funds – it’s built on structure, transparency, and long-term trust. Each group has its own dedicated ticket archive, players are informed before each draw, and payment tracking is streamlined through Revolut.
To date, over €20,000 has been contributed collectively – and while we haven’t hit a major prize yet, I firmly believe that with our consistent approach, it’s only a matter of time before we strike something significant.
We also limit the number of players to ensure everything stays manageable. When that cap is reached, we’ll stop accepting new members to maintain our standard of organization and communication.

Play Smarter, Win Stronger

Joining a syndicate greatly improves your odds of winning without increasing your individual spend. Our groups typically consist of 25 to 30 players, with flexible weekly contributions:
• €2.50/week for one group
• €5/week for two groups
• Some even choose to play across four groups for €10/week
Occasionally, for especially large Friday EuroMillions draws (like the recent €250 million jackpot), we run extra entries – but the main focus remains on the consistent Tuesday draws.

Next screenshot shows nearly €4,000 spent through the National Lottery app—the platform where it all began. Occasionally, if someone pays too late and I don’t have time to go to SuperValu, I don’t exclude them. Instead, I cover their share by purchasing an additional ticket via the app. It’s all about keeping things fair and flexible for everyone involved.
